Basketball Recap: Tenisha Perry and Shadereka Cobb Secure Win for Bullock County

Bullock County saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They walked away with a 43-35 win over the Wilcox Central Jaguars.

Leading Bullock County to victory were Shadereka Cobb and TeNisha Perry. Cobb posted six points along with 15 boards and five steals, while Perry dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, Cobb is now averaging an impressive 9 rebounds per game. Zameria Rodgers also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bullock County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Bullock County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wilcox Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
