Baseball Game Preview: Iowa Colony Pioneers vs. Ball Tornadoes

The Iowa Colony Pioneers will take on the Ball Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

On Friday, Iowa Colony didn't have quite enough to beat Texas City and fell 4-2. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Santa Fe. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tornadoes have suffered since February 28th.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Iowa Colony, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Iowa Colony came out on top in a nail-biter against Ball in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
