Softball Recap: Horatio Comes Up Short

Horatio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 16-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the De Queen Leopards. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Leopards apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Horatio's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for De Queen, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Horatio wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Dierks on the 8th. As for De Queen, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Nashville on the 8th.
