Baseball Recap: Palisades Dolphins vs. San Pedro Pirates

It was a good run, but Palisades unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 11-7 to the San Pedro Pirates. Palisades was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as San Pedro apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Palisades saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Sullivan, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Alex Loos was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Palisades will be playing in front of their home fans against Banning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Banning's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Palisades' hitters will have their work cut out for them. San Pedro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
