Soccer Recap: McIntosh Victorious

McIntosh's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Newnan Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chiefs.

McIntosh's record now sits at 9-4. As for Newnan, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, McIntosh will square off against Pike County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pike County will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something McIntosh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newnan, they will challenge Banneker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Newnan will be up against Banneker's rather soft defense (which has allowed 10.38 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
