Softball Recap: Jacobs Golden Eagles vs. Dundee-Crown Chargers
Jacobs took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Dundee-Crown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Chargers 9-7. While the Golden Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-29), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Skylee Ferrante looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
