Baseball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights lost to Frankfort on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 13-12. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Miller, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Another was Jacob Vathauer, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Valley Heights' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Frankfort, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Heights will face off against Doniphan West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Frankfort, they will challenge Blue Valley on Monday.
