The Springville Red Devils will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against the Cyprus Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Springville focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up 11 on Monday.

Springville is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Manti. Springville took down Manti 59-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Florence, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points plus two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Johnson, who scored ten points in addition to five rebounds and two steals.

Springville was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manti only racked up seven.

Meanwhile, Cyprus suffered their biggest defeat since January 2nd on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Farmington on the road and fell 61-18. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-8.
