Eason was dialed in as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Colfax back in April of 2025, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Eason has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
