Crescent Valley won the last time they faced West Albany and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Crescent Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.

Niana King paced Crescent Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. King got some help from Lela Campos and her 51 assists. Campos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Crescent Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for West Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crescent Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe South Albany at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Albany will face off against rival Silverton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
