Soccer Game Preview: Rochelle vs. Oregon

The Rochelle Hubs will head out to face off against the Oregon Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rochelle has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rochelle lost 7-1 to Dixon on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Rochelle have lost by exactly six goals.

Meanwhile, Oregon unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Princeton by a score of 1-0.

Rochelle has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Oregon, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1.

Rochelle might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Oregon when the teams last played back in May of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hubs were down 4-1.
