Preview: Boling Bulldogs vs. East Bernard Brahmas
Boling is 1-9 against East Bernard since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Boling Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the East Bernard Brahmas at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Boling came up short against Brazos and fell 52-41. Boling has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Bernard suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 95-32 defeat at the hands of Hitchcock. While losing is never fun, East Bernard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 756th, while Hitchcock is ranked 117th).
The losing side was boosted by Ty Domel, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Guthman, who scored nine points.
Boling now has a losing record at 10-11. As for East Bernard, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
Boling came up short against East Bernard in their previous matchup on January 2nd, falling 44-35. Can Boling avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
