Baseball Game Preview: Malvern Hornets vs. Strasburg-Franklin Tigers

For the second straight game, Malvern will face off against Strasburg-Franklin. The Hornets will face off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Malvern has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Malvern came up short against Strasburg-Franklin on Monday, falling 11-1. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

For Strasburg-Franklin's part, Avery Keffer was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Keffer has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Caden Dugan, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Strasburg-Franklin's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Malvern, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
