Soccer Game Preview: Sage Hill vs. Irvine

The Sage Hill Lightning will head out on the road to challenge the Irvine Vaqueros at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sage Hill is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They fell 2-0 to St. Margaret's. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Lightning couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Irvine was forced to settle for a draw. They and St. Margaret's finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw two weeks ago.

With that draw, Irvine's record moves to 4-2-1. As for Sage Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
