Volleyball Game Preview: Saguaro Sabercats vs. Arcadia Titans

The Saguaro Sabercats will venture away from home to challenge the Arcadia Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Saguaro didn't have quite enough to beat Cactus Shadows and fell 3-2.

Saguaro started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Arcadia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Mary's.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Saguaro, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Saguaro was able to grind out a solid win over Arcadia when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabercats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
