Soccer Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy vs. Ardmore

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Westminster Christian Academy duke it out with Ardmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westminster Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Ardmore will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Westminster Christian Academy turned things around against Priceville on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Ardmore came up short against Columbia on Tuesday, falling 6-3. Ardmore have struggled against Columbia recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Ardmore's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Westminster Christian Academy took their win against Ardmore in their previous meeting back in April of 2015 by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
