Soccer Recap: Rain Comes Up Short

Rain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals. While losing is never fun, Rain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while St. Michael Catholic are ranked 43rd).

Rain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Michael Catholic, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-7-1.

Coincidentally, Rain and St. Michael Catholic will both be playing Bayside Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Red Raiders will host the Admirals at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cardinals will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
