Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houlton). They walked away with a 66-58 win over the Fort Fairfield Tigers on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Shiretowners as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Houlton's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Fort Fairfield, they moved to 9-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Houlton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Fairfield, they will take on Madawaska at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madawaska will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Fort Fairfield surely won't give up without a fight.
