Football Recap: Davidson Academy Skates Past Varsity Opponent with Ease

While Davidson Academy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Varsity Opponent. The Bears took their game with ease, bagging a 55-0 win over Varsity Opponent.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Davidson Academy, racking up 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Josh Bolden, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory got Davidson Academy back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Davidson Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next match, a 45-6 defeat against Lighthouse HomeSchool on the 29th.
