Recap: San Jon Coyotes vs. Non Varsity Opponent
The San Jon Coyotes came into Tuesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Non Varsity Opponent with a 36-31 victory on Tuesday. This was a revenge matchup for San Jon, as the team was forced to settle for a 51-43 loss when these two played on Monday.
Sarah Archuleta continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Summer Jennings was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
San Jon's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 111-211 record this season.
San Jon will stay at home for another game and welcome Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on February 13th. Non Varsity Opponent is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
