Volleyball Recap: Otis Beats Bethune for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Otis had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bethune on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Otis not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bethune between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-13.

Lydia Willeke was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and one assist. Karsyn Ringlein also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Otis was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peyton Killian, who had 14 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Sujeily Landaverde, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Otis' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bethune, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
