After losing to Desert Christian the last time they met, Village Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Village Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

Alex Kazaryan paced Village Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kazaryan got some help from Brandon Reed and his 17 assists. Reed was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Village Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Desert Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Village Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Maranatha on the 1st. As for Desert Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Palmdale Academy Charter School on the 1st.
