Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Trinity and Redding Christian, and Redding Christian kept the tradition alive. The Wolves took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Tuesday. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trinity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tom R, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Trinity dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Redding Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-0 loss against Etna on the 4th. As for Redding Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against University Prep on the 28th.
