Basketball Recap: Palmetto Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Palmetto Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 67-38 takedown of Dorchester Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Palmetto Christian Academy were beaten by the Northwood Academy Chargers 69-35 on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Palmetto Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-44 back in December of 2024.

Palmetto Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11. As for Northwood Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Palmetto Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Charleston Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmetto Christian Academy is facing Charleston Collegiate at the right time seeing as Charleston Collegiate is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Northwood Academy, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Porter-Gaud at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
