Volleyball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Baker lost against Choctawhatchee on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gators fell 3-1 to the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-8, 19-25, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Baker saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailey Johnson had ten digs and one assist.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Choctawhatchee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Thigpen, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Thigpen has posted since September 4th. Another player making a difference was Mikah Bandy, who had ten digs and three aces.

Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Choctawhatchee, their record is now 10-12.

Baker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Chipley on the 2nd. As for Choctawhatchee, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Fort Walton Beach on the 2nd.
