Baseball Recap: Green Mountain Rams vs. Wheat Ridge Farmers
While Green Mountain put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Wheat Ridge. The Rams put the hurt on the Farmers with a sharp 21-0 victory. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Farmers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Caden Kelly was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
