Softball Recap: St. Michael's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. Michael's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Michael's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.3 runs. As for Brusly, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

While St. Michael had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
