Basketball Recap: Riverton Gets the Win

While Riverton has struggled at home with 11 straight losses, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Jordyn Durham. The Riverton Hawks skirted past the North Mac Panthers 44-42 thanks in part to Durham, who went 7 for 17 on her way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Riverton's points.

Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for North Mac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Riverton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-38 loss against Central A & M on the 28th. As for North Mac, they will look to defend their home court on January 3rd against Bunker Hill at 7:00 p.m. North Mac is facing Bunker Hill at the right time seeing as Bunker Hill is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
