Basketball Recap: Lakeridge Comes Up Short

Lakeridge lost against West Linn back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakeridge Pacers took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Linn Lions. While losing is never fun, the Pacers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Lions are ranked sixth).

Lakeridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. The win (which was West Linn's third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Coming up, Lakeridge will head out to square off against Lake Oswego at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Linn has already played their next match (against Tigard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
