Missisquoi Valley won the last time they faced Oxbow and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Olympians with a sharp 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

Parker Hakey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hakey was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

In other batting news, Missisquoi Valley got a big performance out of Gavin Nichols, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was Nichols' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Colby Young, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
