Softball Recap: Newton Rams vs. Rockdale County Bulldogs
Newton won the last time they faced Rockdale County, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Newton Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rockdale County Bulldogs , sneaking past 9-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.
Tiara Moody was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in strikeouts. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Parsons, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Newton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
