Meanwhile, Springfield Township came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Panthers. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Springfield Township were the better team in the second half.

Springfield Township's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Upper Moreland, their win bumped their record up to 6-9-1.
