Soccer Recap: Middletown Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Middletown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Goshen Central Gladiators on Thursday, falling 10-1. Middletown were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Goshen Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown will take on Washingtonville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goshen Central, they will face off against Pine Bush at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
