Volleyball Recap: Cibola Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cibola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Imperial Tigers. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cibola was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-23.

Ashlyn Tucker was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four aces and two assists. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Cibola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Imperial, they pushed their record up to 19-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Cibola has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against San Luis on the 14th. As for Imperial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Brawley on the 14th.
