Baseball Recap: Chaparral Falls Short of Goddard in the Playoffs

Chaparral and Goddard squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chaparral had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rockets, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lobos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chaparral saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Munoz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Goddard, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Goddard, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Artesia on the 16th.
