Basketball Recap: Alto Takes a Loss

Alto lost against Cushing back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Alto Yellowjackets were outmatched by the Cushing Bearkats and fell 49-14. The Yellowjackets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Alto's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Cushing, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Alto will be taking part in a tournament against Cayuga at 8:15 a.m. on December 28th. Cushing will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Slocum at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th.
