Football Game Preview: Wethersfield Eagles vs. Middletown Blue Dragons

The Wethersfield Eagles will challenge the Middletown Blue Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Wethersfield 13, Middletown 12.3) so any points scored will be well earned.

Middletown will be up against a hot Wethersfield squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand Farmington a 12-0 shutout on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Middletown was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against South Windsor, falling 30-8. The loss was the Blue Dragons' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Middletown fell to 6-1. As for Wethersfield, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
