Basketball Game Preview: St. Petersburg Green Devils vs. Countryside Cougars + How To Watch

St. Petersburg is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to take on the Countryside Cougars at 7:00 p.m. St. Petersburg will be strutting in after a victory while Countryside will be coming in after a loss.

St. Petersburg will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Keswick Christian, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Green Devils took down the Crusaders 51-34 last Thursday.

St. Petersburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaw Summer, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 9 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Caidyn White was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Countryside came up short against Cypress Creek on Tuesday and fell 45-38. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Countryside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Petersburg, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
