Softball Recap: Bow Wins Going Away Against Milford

Bow won the last time they faced Milford and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Spartans. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Bow and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Milford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bow will take on rival Sanborn Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.1, the Indians 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Milford is set to face off against their familiar foe Hanover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
