Softball Game Preview: Middletown Mustangs vs. Upper Lake Cougars

The Middletown Mustangs will challenge the Upper Lake Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Middletown came up short against Kelseyville on Thursday, falling 13-4. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Upper Lake lost a heartbreaker to Lower Lake when they met back in March of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Cougars lost 12-0 to the Trojans.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Upper Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
