Volleyball Recap: LEE Volunteers vs. Johnson Jaguars

LEE lost against Johnson back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The LEE Volunteers came up short against the Johnson Jaguars, falling 3-0. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LEE was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Johnson work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Johnson found their leader in underclassman Sierra Seal, who had eight digs and 15 assists. Seal is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Gonzalez, who had 11 assists.

LEE's loss dropped their record down to 16-20. As for Johnson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LEE will challenge Madison at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson, they will face off against Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Johnson is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
