Football Game Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. Banks Braves + How To Watch

Warrenton hasn't had much luck against Banks recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will square off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Warrenton sitting on four straight wins and Banks on eight.

On Friday, Warrenton beat Yamhill-Carlton 20-7.

Banks played against Valley Catholic on Friday and won via forfeit.

Warrenton better focus on containing Henry White and Nate Lyda as the pair were huge in Banks' win. White rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while Lyda rushed for 43 yards and a pair of scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave White a new career-high. Lane Gilbert was in the mix too, providing Banks with two TDs.

Banks didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of White and Gilbert. Gilbert got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Warrenton's record now sits at 5-2. As for Banks, their record is now 8-0.

Warrenton might still be hurting after the 24-0 loss they got from Banks when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Gilbert, who threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 88 yards. Now that the Warriors know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
