Tait Reynolds' Big Game Leads Queen Creek over Centennial

Starting off the list is Queen Creek's Tait Reynolds, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Reynolds rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 71 yards.

If the past is any indication, Reynolds could be in store for another big game when he takes on Red Mountain on Friday. Reynolds rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt the last time he and the Mountain Lions duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kalen Fisher Delivers Best Effort of Season

Highland was led to victory by Kalen Fisher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Fisher threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.

Highland's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Fisher and Highland will square off against ALA - Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Red Mountain Gets a Boost from Lopez in 16-14 Win

Simon Lopez's big game helped extend Red Mountain's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lopez turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 75 yards.

Red Mountain pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Lopez and Red Mountain will head out to take on Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kruz Cullimore Goes Supernova in Highland Win

The second Highland player making an appearance here is Kruz Cullimore, and for good reason. He picked up 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 66 yards.

For the year, Cullimore has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Rounding off our Top Five is Q Skillings of Williams Field. Skillings rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

Williams Field is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Skillings and Williams Field will host Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
