Preview: Desert Scorpions vs. Bishop Union Broncos

Desert has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Bishop Union Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Broncos likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Desert beat the Broncs 56-48. 56 seems to be a good number for Desert as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Bishop Union unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 57-48 to Rosamond. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bishop Union has scored all season.

The win got Desert back to even at 8-8. As for Bishop Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Desert didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Broncos in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Desert since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
