Orange Beach had already won 25 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 26 on Friday. They blew past the Helena Huskies 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Makos, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Orange Beach got a great performance from MK McMullan as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts McMullan has posted over her last six matches.

At the plate, Katie King was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Poland, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Orange Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
