Softball Game Preview: Edgewater Eagles vs. Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles

Edgewater is on a 13-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Central Florida Christian Academy a nine-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. Edgewater will welcome Central Florida Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Edgewater fell victim to East River and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 18-0 to the Falcons. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Central Florida Christian Academy came up short against Gateway on Tuesday, falling 26-6.

Susannah Brenyo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Ingram, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Central Florida Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Edgewater, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.
