Soccer Recap: University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Orange Warriors. University were not able to make up for their loss to West Orange from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-2. As for West Orange, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, University will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University's defense better be ready for this one: Winter Park have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season. As for West Orange, they will take on Horizon in a tournament on Monday. Horizon's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
