Softball Recap: Freedom Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Freedom came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings with a sharp 18-5 victory. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Freedom's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average this season. As for Allentown Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
