Volleyball Recap: Taravella Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Hollywood Hills came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Taravella, but Daniela Guarin wouldn't allow it. The Trojans put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday thanks in part to Guarin, who had nine digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Taravella not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hollywood Hills between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-14.

Taravella has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Hollywood Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Taravella will face off against Hallandale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hollywood Hills, they will square off against South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
