After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Pius X, Grants was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Capital Jaguars 12-10. With that victory, the Pirates brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Annora Graham and Delilah Martinez did most of the damage at the plate: Graham got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one triple, while Martinez went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
